A client decided that he could work on his water closets(toilets) and this is the result. They leaked for over an year and wind up costing him about $30K in damage between mold remediation, carpentry, sheetrock, painting, and plumbing repairs. A simple water closet (toilet) replacement would have saved him untold thousands of dollars. I see these types of mistakes all the time.
