While many of our customers understand the basics of HVAC Maintenance, some are unfamiliar with what ControlAir Systems’ maintenance plans include and ask why they are so important.
The two most basic maintenance items are 1) regularly scheduled filter changes, and 2) condenser & evaporator coil cleaning.
Both of these tasks ensure that you are getting proper air flow in your system, allowing the equipment to work as it is designed. Without the proper air flow, you can run into a number of issues such as insufficient air flow to your home or building, your compressor freezing over, or your equipment’s safety limits tripping, causing your system to shut down.
If your system is belt-driven, we will also monitor & replace belts as they begin to get cracked and worn. If belt replacements aren’t performed regularly, your belt will ultimately break which unfortunately prevents the system from providing any air flow to the space.

The Gospel of Matthew (2:1–12) speaks of Magi, or wise men, who followed a star from the East to Bethlehem in search of a newborn king. There they found Mary and the baby Jesus and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
I'm always excited about this story. i know it has nothing to do with what we do, but in this special season is always nice to remember who we are and where we come from.

Customer asked if we could finish a install for them were the others guy got to busy to finish. Couldn’t get a lot of good pictures. Recommend to the customer for us to come back and install line set covers for a cleaner look.

The First AC Was Built in 1902!!!!

Willis Carrier built the first air conditioner to control humidity in a printing plant and allow ink to dry in hot conditions. However, air conditioning didn’t appear in a home until 1913, when Charles Gilbert Gates built one for residential use in a Minneapolis, MN, mansion. But the Romans had the first heating system; the Hypocaust directed heat from a furnace through the floor and pipes in walls (starting at about 350 B.C.).
