That's my guy... with a heavy ladder, and heavy tools, in the sun, with 90% humidity, carefully tending to these Outstanding Shrubs. I'm so Thankful for our customers, our work, and my Super Man. (He may be a little crazy, but it still amazes me that he can do this!) 😅🙏🤣🌿

Speaking of Outstanding Shrubbery... once a year we do an all hands on deck shaping of these gorgeous Wintergreen Boxwoods. There's some electric trimming, some hand shearing, some detailed snipping, and a ton of clean up. As always, we are Thankful for the opportunity to care for such beautiful hedges. ❤️🙏🌿

Outstanding Boxwoods will be soft and flowy, allowing for movement in the breeze and sunlight to filter in between the branches. When you come to a spot that won't budge, you may need to clip off part of that older stem so the younger ones can thrive. Evidence of new growth within the Boxwood (not just the outer edges) is a sign that sunlight is filtering in. Rejoice!

It is incredible how much effort goes into liberating shrubs from vigorous vines. When they compete for nutrients, sun, and water, the vines usually win. If you want your hedges to thrive and reach their full potential, allow some space on either side where the roots don't have to struggle to survive. Outstanding shrubs require outstanding dedication... and patience. 😅🙏🌿
