What a beautiful kitchen update! Our customer had a water leak that led to a kitchen upgrade. We changed the lighting to canless lights throughout kitchen and the adjoining family room. We had the floors on the main level refinished (John Osborne, amazing work). Since the floors needed refinishing, We were able to make the island straight and not with its existing "L." We also were able to add cabinets on the back of the island to increase storage. My favorite upgrade is the in-quartz pop-up outlets that our customer found. When pressed flat, the top is also a wireless charger.

Customer wanted to modernize her stair area. She also had almost no hallway lighting. We removed the carpet and old stair railings. We added a paneling detail on back wall of stair mid-landing. Lighting was improved by adding both a hanging light and canless lights throughout the hall area. The stairs were retreaded and stained to compliment the existing LVP floors. The railings were stained to match and installed with black banisters. The ceiling had a popcorn texture and was also smoothed.

Customer wanted to convert an unused closet to a coffee and wine bar. We removed the doors and framing and finished out the area. We added outlets on the countertop, for the freezer, and for under cabinet lighting. We also tiled the backsplash.

Our customer had a screened in back porch that was installed by the previous owner. They are upgrading the backyard to include a beautiful new pool and fenced-in area. To get the most from their view, we removed the screened-in porch and installed new columns and metal railings. We also repaired any damaged deck boards with KDAT decking so they can stain and seal it right away with no drying time. The other unfinished work is still to come with adding new screening under the porch and landscaping from the pool contractor. I think this simple upgrade has incorporated the porch into the backyard experience.

When this customer purchased their home, the previous owner had removed the wall between the kitchen and this smaller living space. The customer works from home and uses the space as an office. They needed a separation of the two rooms but didnt want to lose the openness of having the wall removed.

We decided the best fit was to install double barndoors. The panels on the right and left are the same as the doors but fixed in place so the view is not obstructed but the sound proofing is increased.

Finished this bathroom remodel. The original bathroom had a sunken jetted tub along with a shower in a separate room. We converted the shower area to a storage closet and maintained the toilet in its own room. We created a "wet area" with the shower and new soaker freestanding tub in the main bathroom (glass doors will be installed later). We upgraded the vanity to solid mahogany with a granite top. The tile work was completed by Daniel Brown with Black Oak Marble and Tile. We installed LVP throughout area and in attached walk-in closet. The lighting was all upgraded to recessed lights with separate dimmer controls and new vanity lights.

Customer had an existing concrete front porch with brick steps. We removed the concrete and steps. We added a new Trex deck with Trex railing. We did the deck and steps in the picture frame style to avoid any raw edges showing from the exterior. Customer wanted lattice to cover underneath the deck but did not like the look of traditional lattice. We used white PVC trim to create a horizontal covering that will allow air flow but prevent critters from getting in and people from seeing underneath.

Customer needed bathroom adjusted to be ADA compatible. The main floor and shower area were ripped out in order to accommodate a new curbless shower. Even though this house was very new, the curb had already rotted out and there was moisture trapped in the existing shower pan. The Schluter waterproofing system was used throughout to prevent water from damaging structure. A fixed glass panel was added to the shower to prevent water splashing, but a door was not added for maximum mobility in and out. Two bathroom doors were changed into pocket doors to allow easier entry and exiting from the bathroom. The door to the toilet area was removed and the opening cased for easier entry. A new chandelier was added also.

Simple screened in porch update. Customer didn't like how porch rails were peeling easily when she wiped them clean from dust and debris. We added a more decorative PVC trim so it will not need paint and will not peel. It is also wider so it can function like a drink rail when outside.

Customer had attic space, that she used for crafts/sewing, she needed finished out. We had ducting and gas lines moved with a new vent added. We added three canless lights with a new dedicated switch and outlets throughout. Water heater needed to be boxed in but accessible, so we created the hidden door with a magnetic catch. We also added a small door to utilize the empty space left behind the new walls. This room opens to the playroom. Homeowner wanted to create a "dutch door" so kids could be watched but not get into equipment. We drywalled the ceiling and shiplapped the walls. Flooring, paint, and finish work completed. Now it's all ready for much more comfortable crafting and sewing!
