Using acoustic technology, we were able to rescue the homeowner's floor from more "trial and error" drilling. The previous company was called out twice and drilled a dozen holes.

If your power went out make sure you turn off your water at the main and drain your pipes. don't want the unpleasant surprise of pipes leaking when the heat comes back on and thaws them out.

Temperatures in the teens tonight, be sure to leave exterior cabinet doors open where there is plumbing to allow heat to reach the plumbing.

The temperature is going into the low 20's this evening and will only get to a high in the 30's tomorrow. With temperatures below freezing for this long it is a good Idea to open cabinet doors on exterior walls if there is plumbing in the wall to allow the heat into the cabinet.

Also, if you know of anyone with a vacant house, an empty house for sale or a neighbor or friend on vacation make sure their heat is on or insurance will not cover frozen pipes in most cases. In cases like that it's a good idea to turn the water off anyway!

Don't forget to disconnect hoses from the house tonight, its going into the 20's. If you have an interior shutoff for your hose spigots, now would be a good time to shut them off for the winter and open the outside spigot to drain the water. If you should forget to heed our advice and the pipes freeze...you know who to call!
