Both projects started the same way, a conversation with the architect about finish, thickness, and sizing. From there we built 3D models for every piece, cut to spec, and delivered site-ready. A talented team took it from there.

Think about the cars people still rebuild after 50 years. Nobody is restoring today’s plastic bumpers. Quality has a way of holding its value.

Natural stone works the same way. If a project is ever torn down, the stone can be reclaimed and reused. If not, it can be recut or crushed for base material. Nothing goes to a landfill.

Every piece starts as a chunk of stone.

We cut it to slab thickness, then to size, then shape each piece individually. Bush-hammered, brushed, edges distressed by hand. Nothing stamped out. Nothing extruded.

That process takes longer. It also means the stone you receive was made for your project, not pulled off a shelf and shipped to whoever ordered first.

The finish on this stone was not an accident.

Bush-hammered for grip. Brushed to soften the texture without losing traction. Edges hand-worked and distressed after cutting. Every step done for a reason, this is a pool deck and coping application where the wrong finish is a liability.

If you are a contractor in Metro Atlanta/North Georgia area stepping into larger projects this year, you already know the design and permitting side can stall everything fast.

Site plans, erosion control, tree protection, stormwater quality management, these are not optional on bigger jobs and they take time if you don’t have a process.

Start here: require your client to provide an updated survey with boundary, topography, trees, setbacks, and easements. Get the .dwg file. That one step alone gets the process moving weeks faster.

We just pulled a builder through permitting in under two weeks on a full front and back deck demo. Silt fence goes in Monday.
