We are excited to announce an important milestone in the continued growth of The Blue River Group.

Please join us in welcoming Mike Guinan as our new Vice President.

Mike brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience in commercial, multifamily, institutional, industrial, and mixed-use construction throughout the Southeast. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and developing lasting relationships with clients, partners, and project teams.

For our President, Jonathan C. Clay, this is an especially meaningful day. Jonathan and Mike first met nearly 36 years ago while studying Construction Management at Southern Polytechnic State University. Since then, they have remained close friends and colleagues, serving together on the Construction Industry Advisory Board through Southern Polytechnic’s transition to Kennesaw State University. Both have also had the honor of serving as Chairman of the Board, helping shape one of the nation’s premier construction management programs.

Mike joins Blue River at an exciting time as we continue to diversify our client base, expand into new markets, and strengthen the relationships we have built with our existing clients. His leadership and experience will help us continue delivering the exceptional service and ex*****on our clients have come to expect while positioning the company for long-term growth.

We’re also proud to announce two leadership alignments that support this next chapter for Blue River:

• Tony Watson has assumed the role of Director of Mission Critical, where he will focus on expanding and strengthening our mission critical operations while ensuring the operational excellence that has defined our success continues to grow.

• Kelly Wilson Clay will serve as Director of Support Services, continuing to lead the accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, administrative, and operational support functions that provide the foundation for everything we do.

These leadership appointments reflect our commitment to building an organization that is positioned for sustainable growth while remaining true to the values that have defined The Blue River Group since its founding.

Last night we had the opportunity to sponsor and attend Rally on the Runway for the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research 20th Anniversary. It was a special evening with many exciting announcements about the important work Rally is doing and grants it awarded last year, advocating and obtaining important funding for pediatric research from the Department of Defense as well as getting to see some of our favorite Falcons walk the runway alongside some strong cancer warriors. Overall, it was a special evening that we were happy to be a small part. Records were broken and tears shed, but IMPORTANT work was done!
