Contactor Holding Wiring
A holding circuit keeps the contactor energized (ON) after you release the start button, until you press the stop button or power is cut.

🔌 Basic Components
Contactor coil (A1, A2)

Start push button (NO – Normally Open)

Stop push button (NC – Normally Closed)

1 NO Auxiliary contact on the contactor

🔁 How It Works
Press START:

Power flows through STOP → START → Coil (A1-A2).

Contactor energizes → closes main & auxiliary NO contact.

Release START:

The auxiliary contact now acts like a “self-latch” — it keeps coil powered.

Press STOP:

Opens the circuit → de-energizes coil → everything turns OFF.

If you decide to do this yourself, SAFETY FIRST! Disconnect the electrical and discharge anything that may store electricity, AC Units run off 240 Volts or more, it will kill you!
