The finishing touches on the High Performance Bungalow - Roswell are coming together. trim, is one of the most exciting stages, especially when it includes this designed and site built ships ladder and railing. Both are made with rough and smooth cedar, as posts, stringer and treads, with galvanized steel, painted black, for the railings. Going back a couple of weeks, as we are now in the trimming stage of the project, we take a look at what went in to the wall and roof cavities, to get us one step closer to completing our continuous thermal enclosure. Owens Corning Pro Pink L77 Loosefill Insulation, with an approximate R-Value of 4.4 per inch, filled all of the exterior walls and roof line, as well as the interior walls (for sound).
Total Exterior Wall R-Value: Approximately 32
Total Exterior Roof Line R-Value: Approximately 45
