Meet Amber Yates, Design Coordinator at Southerly Homes.

Amber joined the team in 2023 after a 19-year career as a legal secretary in energy law. Today, she helps keep plenty moving behind the scenes, from day-to-day company support and client design coordination to helping design Southerly’s spec homes.

A Belton native and Texas State graduate, Amber lives in Austin with her husband, Josh, and their three children. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, canoe trips on the South Llano, being outdoors, trips to the beach, playing 42, and reading.

We’re grateful for everything Amber brings to the Southerly team.

This West University project is a great example of adding something new without losing what made the original home special.

At the rear of the property, a custom ADU was designed to complement the existing Craftsman home, carrying through similar siding, trim, proportions, and architectural details.

Meet Bryce Beckman, Senior Project Manager at Southerly Homes.

A local Austinite, Bryce brings more than 19 years of residential construction experience to the Southerly team. His deep knowledge of Central Texas and hands-on building experience inform every project he leads.

Bryce’s commitment to his work was recognized when he was named 2024 Project Manager of the Year in the Custom Builder category at the 2025 HBA MAX Awards.

Outside of building custom homes, Bryce enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends, hunting trophy whitetail deer, and testing the next great idea on the BBQ pit. He lives in Dripping Springs with his wife, Kerry, and their two daughters.
