Well... Its been awhile and its been a busy season of life both on the business and home fronts..BSD Happenings:~ I have been working on some exciting new services I will be dropping this spring.
~ exciting new projects i will do my best to keep you all up to date on the progress of over on stories
~ updated website FINALLY happening this spring as well
Family Happenings:
~ Gagey made the National League for baseball this season and is playing for a great new team.
~ Della started "school" 2 days a week.. we are still adjusting.
~ Im headed to Paris next week with my favorite in-law ladies and nieces for a girls trip!
~ Joshy is gearing up to be super dad while I'm away next week and working his butt off so we can have this beautiful life that we so enjoy.
~ Goose is 8yrs old and still thinks he's a puppy in mind but his body is starting to tell him otherwise..

Happy New Year!! 🤍 I’ve decided that one of my main goals for this year is to try my hardest to stay focused. Stay focused on building my brand. Stay focused on building my relationship with my husband. Stay focused on giving my son quality time. Stay focused on prioritizing my health and self care.. just to name a few. What are some of your goals for 2021?

I feel like everyone is saying 2020 has been the worst year ever and I’d be lying if I didn’t say I had some extremely sad moments. But the more that I think about it the more I can think of at least 10 amazing moments to counteract the sh*tty ones..🤍

Life is exactly what you make of it and you get to choose how you handle the good, the bad, and every moment in between. My wish for all of you is to have WAY WAY more special moments over crap ones in 2021. Let’s do this. ✨🤍

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend!...
This was the smallest Thanksgiving crowd we’ve ever had as a couple. There were 8 of us. we sat at the dining table. We asked questions. We all built a memory together. And even though we were missing some of our most special people we were still thankful. In a year that has seemed to never end and challenged us all in so many different ways, it is SO important to find the light and to remember that even in the toughest of times there are still so many things to be thankful for.✨🦃

As our city slowly and cautiously tries to reopen small businesses I can’t help but think about the woman in this pic. This is my mom. I know.. ya’d never guess right? 😜 This woman right here has not only taught me everything I know from a design standpoint but also has taught me so much about work ethic, passion, perseverance, and how with every time you get up from falling you are a stronger, more savvy, and more driven person for it.
I couldn’t be more proud of you Mom and I couldn’t be more thankful for your leadership. I love your stinking guts. You GO GIRL! 🖤👯‍♀️

Also.. if you haven’t been into Jules Design Bar in the galleria in a while. Please do so. Help your small businesses survive. Have a cocktail in a fancy glass and shop the badass gifts that she’s just stocked the shelves with. I promise if the new jewelry, candles, and CBD oils to name a few don’t lift your spirits a stiff Baby Jules ought to do the trick! Cheers y’all. 🥃

My favorite rule to traveling is that we have to go places and stay in beds that we think are going to be cozier than our home and our own bed... we try and try but I have yet to find a bed cozier than crawling into my own with freshly washed sheets..
What is your favorite part of traveling?

Alright parents... we are in potty training mode meaning Gage goes in his big boy potty (located in the living room) or outside about 80% of the time as long as he’s naked but about 20% of the time if he has anything on the lower half. 🤦‍♀️ ALL tips welcome for the un**es transition PLEASE! 🤪🤷🏼‍♀️

Is there anything more romantic and moody than decanters and glass globes?

Whenever I start a project I always have a healthy space for accessories in the budget. They create the cozy in a room. They help take away the echo and create the story for your space.

Monday tip: don’t skimp on the accessory budget. It’s one of the most important parts of your story. 🤍🥃 cheers!

Weekend Vibes.. ☀️ if you aren’t following you aren’t seeing crazy amazing landscape designs like this. They are unbelievably talented and give every single job they do passion and dedication. Not to mention they are extremely good looking and have many leather bound books. I know, I married one of them. 😎 cheers to Saturday y’all!
