Sidewalk project we completed today:
Pulled up the existing irregular bluestone sidewalk. Installed black aluminum edging, 3 inches of crushed stone, and 1 inch of stone dust.
Reinstalled and leveled the old irregular bluestone, filling the gaps with peastone river rock.
Finished the project by installing black aluminum edging to separate the mulch and peastone gravel. Installed a drainage box to catch rainwater, preventing landscape bed washout and overflow onto the sidewalk. Insta
This was a challenging project given the varying thickness and size of the bluestone. The customer is very happy with the results, and it is a major upgrade from the old sidewalk.
