The USAC Racing Eastern Midgets return to the Ona Speedway near Huntington, WV with their style of breathtaking, high speed action this Saturday, May 21st for K&J Demolition and Excavation Night! In a double special event, the night will also see the return of Baby Grand Stock Cars to Ona with the zMax Pro Grand National Racing Series.

Keaton's Collision Center, Inc. Late Models, Bumper Pounding Street Stocks, McCam Builders Classic Cars, Contempo Trophy & Awards, Inc. UCAR's, Southern Ohio Speed INEX Legends Car Pro, Geer Brothers Body Shop Inc. INEX Legends Car Semi-Pro, and Snap Lawn and Handyman Service LLC Crazy Compacts will also make up the jam packed racing card. All classes will run feature races only.

General admission on Saturday is only $15 for ages 15 and up, $10 for ages 11-14, and free for ages 10 and under. All access pit passes are only $30 for ages 15 and up, $15 for ages 11-14, and free for ages 10 and under. Pit gates open at noon with general admission gates opening at 4:00 pm. Racing will start at 6:00 pm.

There will be open practice Friday, May 20th from 5:00 pm until dark. Pit passes for practice are only $5 while the cost to practice a race car is only $20.

Let’s pack the house

It's going to be a historic night of racing tomorrow at the K&J Demolition and Excavation Season Championships as we will crown 8 track champions! It will be perhaps the most intense race night of 2020 with so much on the line in our 8 weekly divisions that will be in action.

In addition to the great racing action, we will have trick or treat for the kids on the track at intermission. We will also be having a Halloween costume contest for kids and adults in which money will be on the line!

Remember the early start times tomorrow! Pit gates open at noon with qualifying at 3:45 and racing at 5:00 pm. Spectator gates open at 4:00 pm. General admission is only $10 (ages 15 and up), $5 (ages 11-14), and FREE (ages 10 and under). Pit passes are only $30 (ages 15 and up), $15 (ages 11-14), and FREE (ages 10 and under).

Going to be a good night

Thomas Bailey comes into the K&J Demolition and Excavation Season Championships with a 16 point lead over Dustin Higginbotham and a 20 point lead over Donna Bush. Those three drivers are all still mathematically alive for the championship.

Bailey can clinch the championship by finishing 16th or better. If the season car count trends continue for the class, Bailey will clinch the track championship by starting the feature race.

If the car count would exceed the season trends and Bailey would finish in the back of the pack or if he does not start the feature, it opens the championship up for Higginbotham and Bush

Officially one of the dangerous roads in WV started today on the start of finishing to a 4 lane. Glad to say I'm part of the new Rt 35. First house went on the ground today.
