A beautiful morning, the air feels so good now that the humidity broke ! Gearing up for a big sheep move later today, labeling more herbs and perennials (some potted plants at the stand now, more later - it’s a great week for planting !), making more bouquets, weeding, keeping an eye out for the bear who’s been hanging out at the edge of the lower pasture (where the youngest goat kids are being guarded by our good old boy Otso), puppies getting chunkier by the day…. The time of year when literally everything is growing by the minute ! Look away and come back to the gardens to find hundreds of flowers that need harvesting right now, weeds of course, and more nourishment and beauty on the way 🌱💐☀️

Also some small pots of medicinal herbs (motherwort, marshmallow, sage, echinacea) , some chives, bee balm, and some nice little witch hazel trees I’ve been growing out for a couple years- all ready to go into your gardens .

last chance for tulips/narcissus/daffodils ! Tulip Club gets first dibs on the fancy double blooms AND another week of flowers after this - but you can get some for this weekend 🌷💐 Send a message to pre-order, or stop by the farmstand Fri after 3pm, through the weekend/ til sold out. And…: important announcement some of you will find disappointing: no more eggs . Our hens have moved on to greener pastures - get in touch with them for the good eggs ! Parting with those hennies was hard, but good to make space and time for more flowers, strawberries and veg , not to mention a couple hundred small ruminants 🐐 🐑 !

The few remaining bouquets in the stand are now on sale for a greatly discounted price! The cool weather is keeping the tulips fresh even longer,so despite having been picked a few days ago, they will still last another week when you bring them home, trim the stems and put in fresh water ! 🌷 💐 🌷
Limited , newly harvested bouquets will be available at the end of the week 😊
