My Blues 2 Bluegrass program airs every Monday, 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. This week on Blues 2 Bluegrass, as usual, I will be mixing up the genres, including a set of Dean Johanesen, a local, unique and extremely talented performer playing venues around town. Other musicians I will be playing, in order are Fleetwood Mac, Eric Johnson, Jason Isbell, Blind W***y Johnson, Taj Mahal, Gato Barbieri (played by request from Alix), Caamp, Rory Block, Dorothy Foster and Doyle Bramhall, II, Steve Earl and Del McCoury Band, Ma Rainey, Rebekah Pulley, Dani Wilde, Nico, Big Bill Broonzy, The Brothers Comatose, John Campbelljohn, Dean Johanesen, The Resonant Rogues, Eric Johnson, John Mayall and the Blues Breakers, Del McCoury Band, Greensky Bluegrass, and John Lee Ho**er. We'll wrap up the show with Beatles covers by Sarah McLauchlan, Nick Cave, the Del McCoury Bank, and Little Richard. Look forward to sharing my mix of music with you. This is a 3/4 size Explorer with maple top, mahogany back and a hard maple neck with a wenge fretboard. It was a great project that I built for my Grandson in 2015 and still hoping he will learn to play it.

Turned out to be more complicated than originally thought replacing the entire neck. John put a lot
of work into saving the fingerboard and custom fitting the neck body joint. This is Connie Dillon's guitar. I hope she is thrilled with the finished product. The headstock and a quarter of the neck were broken off completely when we got
our hands on it.

John has been working hard on a custom guitar and working very hard to do a complete neck replacement that turned out to be MUCH more involved than it looked at first.
