Another bridesmaid dress has been altered with a new hem. Featuring a scalloped hem, this dress required the use of pattern design to copy the scallops, and iron-on stabilizer was applied to get the curves to lay flat before the hem was sewn.

Took this patch off an old denim jacket, reinforced it with a fabric stabilizer and installed it on a new jacket.

A friend asked if I would rework her mom's bridal veil. She cut frame then brought it to me.
I then installed hair combs,reattached the loose beads, replaced the missing gems and added velcro to hold her veil.
I love how it turned out.

Project completions this week include securing a wild pillow's seam to retain its stuffing, re stitching seams on 5 pairs of leggings, and shortening a pair of pajamas' hem using a twin needle technique for flexibility and durability.

The quilt is now complete, requiring 4 hours of stitching, and I am pleased with the final result. It was a truly enjoyable project.

This quilt presented a complex repair challenge, with stitch failures and fabric deterioration evident throughout. Following application of a fabric stabilizer to compromised areas, I embarked on ahand-stitching process, utilizing diverse sewing techniques to camouflage the repairs. Spanning multiple weeks, the meticulous restoration of over 35 distinct sites has taken some time. Fortunately, the quilt's portability has permitted me to integrate work sessions with family responsibilities. The forthcoming completion of this project promises to be rewarding, and I am hopeful the quilt will provide enjoyment to its owner for many years.
