The Club was the driving force behind The Blair Foundation for Historic Hollidaysburg, The Recreation Commission, and building the Hollidaysburg YMCA. Our Club won the GFWC Pennsylvania State Awards for our Kid Alert program for children; Community Improvement Awards: Tot Park at Canal Basin; and the Renovation of Kids Kingdom Playpark and Canal Basin Park. Our Club continues to be the driving for

ce behind many worthwhile community projects such as planting trees along Logan Blvd, the Canal Basin Park, and the Kids Kingdom Playpark at Legion Park. Our Club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), and GFWC Pennsylvania. The object of the GFWC/HAWC is to develop the educational, civic, and social interests of its members, to advance the welfare of the community, and to promote the progress and work of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and GFWC Pennsylvania. GFWC Hollidaysburg Area Women’s Club held our spring food drive Saturday. We collected canned goods, toiletries, cleaning supplies and cash donations.

We are proud to support Tiger Pack Program, American Rescue Workers and Family Services with these donations!

As always, our community stepped up to help those in need. Even in the rain, our members showed up and worked to make others’ lives a little better!

Thanks to Hometown Markets and the Hollidaysburg School District for their help in this endeavor!

🥰 We are proud to be part of this global organization! General Federation of Women's Clubs!

One hundred and thirty-six years ago, on April 24th, 1890, 63 women from 17 states across the country formally adopted the constitution of the newly-formed General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Their commitment to each other paved the way for the immeasurable impact clubwomen have had on the world. Today, we celebrate the founding of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and the incredible members who dedicate their lives to serving others.
