Dropped a little razzle-dazzle on this garage floor over in Bel Air! ✨🔥

But we’re not done just yet! Our customer is also taking advantage of our garage storage solutions with eight 72” tall, 36” wide, and 18” deep cabinets scheduled to arrive next week.

Once those cabinets are installed, this garage is going to have a whole new look! We can’t wait to show you the finished transformation!

That’s a wrap in Davidsonville! 🔥

Madras has quickly become one of my favorite flake blends, but I need a little help from you guys!

I’ve noticed for a while now that my photos just don’t do these floors justice. My camera settings are all on default, and I haven’t messed with anything crazy, but for some reason, the colors just don’t pop like they do in person. Some photos look blurry, and in half of them, you can barely even tell what color the floor actually is!

Anybody have any photography tips or suggestions? I’d love to be able to capture these floors the way they really look in person.

Anyway, we’ll be back in Bel Air today, and then we’re looking forward to a nice little weekend off!

Out in Perryville today, working on a 1,200-square-foot detached garage for our customers, Mark and Tina!

Mark is an avid bass fisherman and a big-time supporter of the Chesapeake Bay, so needless to say, we hit it off pretty well!

Mark’s garage was recently built, which brings me to something important that every homeowner should know.

Freshly poured concrete should typically be allowed to cure for 60–90 days before applying a coating system. But here’s the thing: waiting alone isn’t enough!

You also need to test the concrete for moisture before applying any coatings. Just because concrete looks and feels dry doesn’t mean it’s ready to be coated.

If your contractor isn’t checking moisture levels during the inspection and estimate process, that’s a major red flag. You may want to find another contractor.

Excessive moisture and improper mechanical preparation are two of the biggest reasons concrete coating systems fail. Cutting corners on either can lead to costly problems down the road.

We’ll be wrapping this project up tomorrow, so stay tuned for the finished pictures!
