Hidden doors are cool, utility rooms not so much. So we did our best to use the materials natural colors to help disguise this utility room door. Hidden fasteners and tight tolerances are major players on these types of installations.

We recently had the unique opportunity to build a bar-top using hand hewn beams salvaged from the customers family barn that dates back to the 1840’s.
I utilized four existing mortises in the beams and made four more for each end. I tenoned the cross beams, and maintained true-to-era craftsmanship.

Our job here was installing an attic access in a finished t&g ceiling, and to match the existing ceiling fan design. The light cover was on the counter and not re-installed before photos, but installed before we left.

This beautifully snowy week here in Central Oregon we were able to shift our work inside, and completed a clients t&g ceiling and their t&g accent wall up the staircase. Corner protectors were taped up before i took pictures of the beautiful mitered corners, but trust me, they are as beautiful as the bit of corner pictured.
