So this happened in Atlanta today at a place where Peachtree Creek flows right into the Chattahoochee River. We Unloaded Four Sections of a
14’-0 Wide x 180’-0 Long Pioneer Bridge, and we got Three of those Sections Spliced Together.
A very difficult job site to get Equipment and these Four Bridge Trucks back to, but the Entire TEAM did a great job and we got this amount of work done in just 5 Hours. All Trucks had Double Escorts and had to Back through the Park Gate and then to a Gravel Access Road to the Actual Job Site. All did a great job.
We had a Superior Cranes 180 Ton All Terrain Crane. We will Cantilever Out the Three Sections in the morning about 40’-0 and then will Set it down on Wood Cribbing Towers and will then Grab Section #4 and Splice it to the others.
We will then pull off of the job for a couple of days while a little more Site Work gets done to get ready for Superior Cranes 800 Ton Crane with Heavy Lift to come out Monday morning and Set Up so we can Pick & Swing this 180’-0 Bridge that Weighs 97,000 lbs. over Peachtree Creek, hopefully by early afternoon.

Here is a great shot of the 50’-0 wide x 105’-0 long Contech Big R Modular Bridge that we Erected last week over Pumpkinvine Creek in Dallas, Georgia with a Superior Cranes 550 Ton All Terrain Crane. Thank you to Brian Hughes with RWS Design Build for the opportunity to do the job for you.

We spent a few days in Dallas, Ga. this week installing a Contech Big R Bridge that was 50’-0 Wide x 105’-0 Long. We used a Superior Cranes 550 Ton Crane to Erect the Four Modules & Beam Diaphragms. We had their 120 Ton Crane on the job a couple of weeks ago and Unloaded and Assembled the Eight Modules. We really enjoyed working for RWS Design Build and Brian & Wiley & Pedro. Pedro Gil did a fantastic job with the Very Large Concrete Abutments & WingWalls. Superior Cranes guys, Eric, Brian & Ben were great to work with again as well. And a Big Thanks to my Six Banner guys for working through some bad weather and delays and getting it all done this week. Appreciate RWS letting us do the job for them. And Thank You Lord for another Safe & Successful Job.

I was at a Park in Homewood, up behind Dawson Baptist Church Monday, morning looking at a job to do and I went to see this Pedestrian Bridge that takes you to Homewood Middle School. We Refurbished / Replaced the Entire Floor System a few years ago and had AHR Metals working with us.
