Check out what we've been up to this week!
Another staircase renovation is almost complete, and we look forward to sharing the finished product once the paint and stain have been applied.
After renovating this lower-level space last year, we were invited back to bring the staircase up to speed with its refreshed surroundings. As part of the transformation, we widened the staircase to improve accessibility, comfort, and overall ease of use. It's a change that not only enhances the appearance of the space but also makes everyday living more enjoyable.
We've also incorporated embedded nighttime accent lighting, which is already in place and adds both charm and purpose to the staircase. Beyond creating a warm, inviting look, it provides subtle illumination that makes navigating the space safer and more comfortable after dark.

What better excuse to share another closet transformation? This former catch-all storage space got a fresh purpose as a dedicated food pantry. We added lighting from scratch, installed plenty of shelving, and turned an underutilized closet into a bright, functional storage solution.
No dramatic demolition. No over-the-top makeover. Just thoughtful design that makes everyday life a little easier. ✨

You can never have enough closet space, and that's good news for Bardsley Home Services because we're always creating and reimagining storage solutions for our clients.
This custom closet transformation took just a few days to complete. We increased the closet's width by approximately three feet, creating significantly more storage space. For a cleaner, more balanced appearance, we also shifted the closet to the left, allowing for a full-width trim board on the right side.
The result is a more functional, visually appealing space that maximizes storage while maintaining a polished, custom-built look.

This recent bathroom remodel involved removing an outdated full-height bathtub and replacing it with a beautiful low-curb walk-in shower designed for safer, easier access—without sacrificing style. From demolition to the finishing touches, every detail was completed with the quality craftsmanship and attention to detail our clients have come to expect.

This lower-level split-entry underwent a complete transformation. Taken back to the open wall studs and cement subfloor, the space was reimagined with an entirely new floor plan designed for improved functionality and flow.
The renovation included the addition of a full bathroom, a new dedicated laundry and utility room, an open-concept layout at the base of the stairs, and a spacious egress hallway leading to the garage. Every aspect of the lower level was thoughtfully redesigned to maximize both comfort and usability.
To preserve the home's character, the homeowner chose to keep the existing wood-burning stove, which was enhanced with a beautiful new surround that will provide warmth and enjoyment for years to come.
What truly sets this project apart is the level of craftsmanship throughout. From the framing and finishes to the final details, every element was completed with exceptional precision, cleanliness, and attention to detail. The result is a sharp, polished space that reflects the pride and care invested in every phase of the renovation.

Upgrading the look and design of your interior doors can have a major impact on the overall appearance of your home.
In many cases, it's possible to replace the door slab only, leaving the existing jambs and trim intact. With a little mortising and routing, you can make a dramatic transformation without the expense and disruption of replacing the entire door unit.
Today, we replaced a solid-core six-panel door with a beautiful French-style door slab. The new design opens up the corner, allows more light to flow into the stairwell, and gives the room a fresh, updated look.
A simple change can make a big difference!
