The finished project gets the spotlight.

But the real work happens long before anyone sees it.

Planning. Coordinating. Problem-solving. Adjusting. Communicating. Re-checking.

And occasionally... standing on a crowded street wondering how something that looked so simple on paper became… that.

That’s construction.

It’s messy behind the scenes but when the right people are doing their jobs, the finished product makes it look easy.

And that’s kind of the point.

Turns out we can still all fit on the same jobsite... and we still haven't fired each other.

A few more wrinkles, a little less hair (for some of us 😏), and a whole lot more stories.

Not much has changed, really. We're still giving each other a hard time, still arguing over the "right" way to do things, and still making sure the job gets done right before we head home.

Family businesses aren't always glamorous but... I wouldn't trade these days for anything.
