We had the pleasure of helping a family today with a major water leak that flooded the entire 1st floor! A 5 year old home with a below average, new construction, main water line install. We were there in 45 minutes and got to work! We're here if you need us!

We are out cooking lunch for the hard working employees of The City of Fultondale today as they put on the annual Founders Day!

Ryan attended two very important meetings today. 1, the FMAA (Fire Marshals Association of Alabama) and 2, the Shelby County Fire and EMS Association meeting. These meetings are very important for how we tackle your small electrical fire to a working structure fire. The insight from the Chief and Marshal help determine cause, origin, source and fuel (ignition material). We use restoration techniques around said information on your contents, clothing and structure as applicable. Construction takes a back seat for weeks and commonly months after a fire.

We're very thankful to be involved and members of the County Associations of the metro Birmingham area!

So we have 2 Chief Jon Lord Memorial Raffle winners today! First, is Mr. Marcus Johnson, who is the Chief Electrical Inspector and oversees fire coding for Jefferson County. Secondly we have your friend and mine, Captain Mike Seales of North Shelby Fire Department. Thank both of you gentlemen for all you do, respectfully.

We appreciate all the calls and referrals in our network of departments this month!

We were in attendance of the St.Clair Co Fire and EMS Association meeting this evening. Its always great to to be there with an amazing group of 1st Responders! Thanks to all the LEO and Dispatchers who provided a delicious steak dinner!

This month's Chief Jon Lord Memorial Raffle goes to Jeremy Moses of Whitney Fire and Rescue. He has volunteered there for 2 years and also works for Regional Paramedics! Thanks for all you do, sir!

Jefferson Co Fire and EMS Association had a great meeting tonight that was full of insight and fellowship. Thank you for always having us!
