This page is dedicated to preserving the life and work of my father,
Gilbert “Kashmir” McAlpine — The Tag Man.

He was an artist who created with precision, vision, and commitment—working in a single take, without corrections. From custom tags and plaques to murals and large-scale work, everything he made carried his signature style and presence.

He was part of a real community of artists, and when he passed in 1997, people showed up in numbers to pay their respects. That’s the kind of impact he had.

This page exists to document his work, his method, and his legacy.
