Bigger isn’t always better when it comes to building your dream home.

One of the biggest conversations I have with homeowners is where to invest their budget. Do we add more square footage, or focus on the finishes and details that make a home feel complete?

The truth is, there’s no single answer that works for everyone.

I believe a well-designed home should reflect how you actually live, with intentional spaces, quality craftsmanship, and details that make sense for your lifestyle.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about building the biggest home. It’s about building the right one.

So, I’m curious. Would you choose more square footage or upgraded finishes?

A pretty exciting weekend for Generations Homes. 🤍

Our 2026 Parade of Homes entry was awarded Best in Show, Outstanding Kitchen, AND Outstanding Bath!

Every detail of this home was thoughtfully planned and brought to life, from the custom kitchen and hidden pantry to the finishes throughout the primary bath. Seeing that work recognized in three categories makes us incredibly proud of this home and everyone who had a hand in creating it.
