Before I became a homeowner, I hated rain. And even though I still hate it because of what it does to my hair, I love it because it's free water on my grass as opposed to being charged by the city! I never knew how much I would value the wet stuff! :)

For the first time since I have lived in this house I actually have a bedroom that I wouldn't feel embarrassed showing company if they wanted to see my house. It's probably not gonna stay this clean, but it sure does feel great! ;)

Been in this house 1 year today! There are still a few boxes that need to be unpacked... that's normal right? Thankful for Habitat's ministry and God for giving me my circumstances. :)

Pretty excited to watch the Autumn leaves change for the first time out my front window, from my home office in my living room. God is good... so good. All the time!

Ok... so remember two weeks ago?? That wasn't entirely accurate. NOW they are spraying the grass in my yard! Now I can have some green stuff! :)

my yard got grass seed today... now I just want it to rain so I don't have to pay my water bill more to water it for the next few weeks. :))

I get grass seed this week! I need a hose for watering! Anyone got an extra layin' around I can borrow? Apparently I need to water it like a mad woman for the first few weeks! :)

Excavation of the lot next to mine! I'm excited to help this family build their dream, like so many helped me with mine last year... :) So cool to see it happening again! :)

wondering if I have been settled into my new house yet? the answer is a resounding yes... so resounding that I am beyond settled into "lived in"... very very lived in. laundry, dishes, tub scum and all. :) still days go by where I can't believe it's mine... I hope this feeling never fades.
