Heartland Electric is currently accepting non perishable food donations, as well as allergy friendly food donations. Allergy safe foods can be expensive and with having our own child who suffers from several food allergies (some of which are life threatening), we've identified a need for these types of foods at our local food pantries. Donations will be dropped off to the Food Pantry at Eastview Christian Church.
Drop-Off times:
Monday-Thursday from 9 am - 2 pm
Here are several non perishable food donation suggestions:
-Sunbutter (like peanut butter, but made with sunflower seeds)
-Gluten free bread
-Gluten free macaroni and cheese
-Enjoy Life brand snacks (free of the top 9 allergens: milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and sesame)
-Made Good brand snacks (free of the top 9 allergens: milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and sesame)
-Snyder pretzels
-Snyder gluten free pretzels
-Popcorn
