It’s been a busy spring filled with long days, muddy equipment, and a lot of acres covered. Grateful for all the landowners trusting us with their properties this season.

From Remus to Manistee, the crews were covering some miles today. 🌱🦌

Spent the morning walking a property in Remus for a habitat design and came across a few deadheads along with a fresh new fawn tucked into cover. Always cool seeing both ends of the cycle in the same walk.

Meanwhile, the planting crew was rolling in Manistee, dropping another 5,000 Miscanthus rhizomes in the ground. Busy day building better habitat across Michigan.

5,400 rhizomes in the ground today! Usually we plant by hand in furrowed rows, but today we switched things up and modified our tree planter to run at a 4” depth. Knocked out 400-yard rows and it worked surprisingly well. Always looking for ways to plant more efficiently and keep improving the process. 🌱🚜
