Also getting around to posting Arkansas Oklahoma State Fair Home Ec and Canning awards.

You never know how you will do in judging between the local county fairs to the bigger State fairs but coming away with a red Ribbon at any fair has never been an experience I have turned my nose up to. The feedback on the back of the card is the prize. There are some very constructive notes as well as uplifting positive compliments ❤️🎡

Senior Sunday South Logan County Fair Booneville Arkansas edition... when I say they started crafting for the fair when they were still in diapers I mean that quite literally!! 🥹 A master gardener/garden club friend got me started in exhibiting home ec the year before I had the girls so naturally they wanted to get involved when I was doing my crafting for the fair. I can't begin to tell you how proud I am as a mama that they actually stayed involved all the way through their senior year 😭😭 It actually makes me so sad to close this chapter because this is the longest running activity they have ever been involved in and the way they have evolved and flourished in all things fair exhibitor has been the hardest they have had to work. What started as fun crafting projects turned into showing livestock which is a full time job in itself. For them to make time for all of these things on top of being excellent students as well as outstanding athletes has given me so much pride 💜 Being able to share as a family the passion for crafting, growing and gardening, Arts, photography, food preservation, beekeeping, farming and all the other forms of creativity has been such a joy in my life. They are amazing in every single way and I'm just so proud of them!!

The FINAL night of the fair. So sad all the lasts. You always think you have more opportunities and when they first started entering their stuff in home ec they were still in diapers! Then as soon as they were old enough to start showing animals it really got crazy!! They say their is no tired like fair tired but I know I'm going to miss this stage of their life.

I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the people in the community that has helped us along the way!! All the volenteers, 4-H leaders, FFA/ag teachers, auction sponsors and add on sponsors, parents, livestock/fair boards, mentors, peers/exhibitors and just anyone who has supported us with kind words and encouragement all these years ❤️ You really feel a deep sense of community when everyone is helping everyone and the appreciation for that kind of support can never be measured!

Thank you South Logan County Fair Booneville Arkansas for recognizing and making the Seniors feel special on their last big night of the fair❤️
