I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share the story behind Becker Stone & Design.
My name is Karsten Becker. I’m 25 years old, born and raised in Buzzards Bay, a Bourne High School graduate, and the proud owner operator of this business. Bourne is home, and it’s where I’m building a business serving homeowners throughout Cape Cod and the South Shore.
I started landscaping at 17 on Cape Cod, where I found a passion for working outdoors, creating spaces, and building things that last. I’m hands-on with every project, take pride in the details, treat each home as my own, and believe in honest communication and standing behind my work.
Today, I specialize in custom hardscaping and landscape design, bringing the same passion to every project. As I grow, my goal is to build a respected local business that creates opportunities for others and makes a positive impact on the communities I call home. I’m proud of this business and excited to keep building the foundation for years to come.
My grandfather was a big part of what gave me the courage to take this step. He passed away in late 2024, but his character, his belief in me, and the pride he had in our family have stayed with me. Starting my own business was a leap of faith—a way to honor him while building a future I could be proud of. Having Becker in the name means something personal to me, and I want the work behind it to reflect that.
As my first full year in business comes to a close, I’m especially grateful to everyone who has supported me and every client who has trusted me with their home. Your support has allowed me to do what I love, and I don’t take that for granted.
Thank you for being part of the beginning — it truly means the world. If you’ve got a project in mind I’d love to help bring it to life.
