We have been enjoying fall in all her glory here at Nature's Rebellion! Roasting pumpkins for puree, making pumpkin treats, painting pumpkins, looking at pumpkins, thinking about pumpkins...you get the picture 🎃🍁🍂

I've also been very slowly deep cleaning my home and preparing for the winter to come and the holiday season. I'm actively preparing things for Christmas time, though I will be on hiatus from vendor events due to surgery recovery. Keep an eye out for gift baskets I'll be listing here toward the end of November for farm pick-up or local delivery! Each basket will include a variety of Nature's Rebellion handmade products such as calendula salve, mint lip balm, home grown teas, sugar shapes, herb salt, and some homemade seed packets including this year's NR heirloom sunflower mix 🌱

I still have lots of beautiful house plants on sale for $10 each as well! Pothos, Chinese evergreen, Swiss cheese monstera, and a begonia maculata. Send me a message for pictures and to arrange delivery or pickup!

Have a wonderful week and always remember...

Summer has officially come to it's end here in the Clark's Fork river valley. If you live at higher elevations like Red Lodge, you've already had frosts and the trees are deep into their transition to winter. Down here, trees are finally showing meaningful color and the nights are getting cooler. Our first frost is right around the corner. According to the forecast, we will be getting frost next weekend. That means we have just one week to finish all the pre-frost garden chores!

I am definitely behind on all my garden chores. Between injuries and illness flares, I have been down for the count for weeks at a time lately. I'm hoping these next couple weeks go well and I can power through putting the garden to bed for the winter and the remaining preservation projects on my list. For today though, it's Sunday rest day with a horror movie marathon to welcome October 🍁🍂🎃

What's YOUR favorite horror movie?

Have a great last week in the garden y'all and always remember...

What are YOU doing on Saturday? Because you should absolutely be checking out the Country Morning Market at Corabeth Acres LLC from 9 to 1! There will be veggies, baked goods, home grown canned items from Crable Cattle, jewlery and light catchers from Moonvine Atelier, and most of all... a make your own bouquet bar!

Join me and I'll help you make a gorgeous floral arrangement to take home! I'll be bringing the last of this year's cut flowers (soooo many sunflowers!) and lots of wh***ey and w**e bottles and some vases. Pricing will look like:
🌱Bottle Bouquet (bottle, sticker, h**p cord, and 5 stems)- $10
🌱Vase (unique vase, sticker, h**p cord, 10 stems)- $20

I prefer cash but I can take venmo or cash app as well if needed. I can't wait to see you all for the last time this fall! I will be having another surgery in November so I will be taking a brief sabbatical from vendor events. In that spirit, I'll be having a sale on house plants ($5 for cuttings, $10 for potted) so I can have less stuff to take care of while healing and build up some funds for my time off. Anything helps!

Thank you all so much for your support this year as I have embarked on new journeys and expanded my operations. It truly means everything to have folks that let me pop up at their events and businesses to build my own, and of course the people who spend their hard earned cash at my booths. You do not go unnoticed or unappreciated, I promise! You all are making it possible for me to live out my dream even pushing through chronic illness and I cannot be thankful enough. Being able to run my own business enables me to do things like take time to recover from the surgeries I need to have every few years to manage my condition. Thank you again, and always remember...

Next Saturday the 19th, we will be appearing at the FINAL Country Morning Market at Corabeth Acres LLC from 9 to 1! As long as the weather holds and we don't get an early frost, I will be bringing the last of this season's cut flowers including a ton of really gorgeous sunflowers! I'll be doing things a little differently this time, instead of selling pre made arrangements, I will be bringing buckets of blooms and empty clean wh***ey and w**e bottles so you can make your own bottle bouquet! I *may* also have some pumpkins and assorted winter squash available for purchase, and house plants as always! Hope to see you all there and in the meantime always remember...

This has been a banner year for my garden. So much beauty, so productive. Growing your own food is important, but growing joy and beauty is important too 💚 with the style of gardening I have implemented after years of trial and error, I know for sure that those things that are seemingly there only for beauty are there for so much more. Every flower intermingled with veggies increases pollination rates by attracting pollinators. I've had the best squash year ever this year thanks to interplanting flowers. I have been just living in awe of these cool garden spaces I've created. As soil (and meme) legend Dave Brandt said, "it's not much, but it's honest work"
