Going with the cheapest contractor can often have your project costing more then the highest. We contracted with United Pacific for the renovation of their restrooms/showerrooms at one of their truck stops in Colorado. They had previously hired a contractor who did some of the cheapest worst work I'd seen. They were supposed to put tile on the floor but instead installed vinyl tile over existing tile. Walls were supposed to be tile but installed did an awful job of installing FRP. Sharkbite fittings were used. Owners fired them and contracted with us once they saw what they were doing. I'm not a fan of the finishes but with it being a truck stop they were looking for durability and easy cleaning more then anything
