The customer wanted to add more usable space on the lower level without being bothered by nature so much. The upper deck was rotted and allowed rain to pour in underneath to the table below. After removing the upper deck, we used Trex Rainscape on the new framing. This allowed us to move the water to a hidden gutter so the lower area can be used during rain events. The upper decking used is Trex Select Pebble Grey. The handrails are all aluminum Westbury to give it that touch of beauty. To finish off the lower area, all the archways received screens to keep the bugs outside. Now they can enjoy coffee in the morning or steaks at night while looking at the lake.
