I haven’t looked back since I started!

This DIY was too good not to share that’s why I am deviating from my normal gardening video just to share it with you. After all gardening does go hand in hand with natural products.

A little background, for years I’ve had a t-zone problem and it would be mostly dry, red, and flaky. I’ve gone through so many different moisturizers and remedies and over the past year facial beef tallow has been the only thing to make my face feel normal again.
It’s not a cure but it definitely moisturizes through the whole day and so far it has prevented massive flare ups that tend to happen when the seasons change.

Some side notes to consider:
🌱don’t just use any beef tallow, use grass fed purified beef tallow with no salt. You can also further purify it at home. Using low grade beef tallow can clog your pores and cause inflammation
🌱Beef tallow is not for everyone but if you think it may help you try it and don’t forget to do a spot check.
🌱essential oils for fragrance is optional especially if you have very sensitive skin.

More Ube Plants! 🍠

I’ve been busy nesting expecting a new garden apprentice soon and the first chance I got to check on our Ube Yams was amazing! We had nearly 30 setts and I planted all of them in this one raised beds.
Did you notice the bird chirping in the background? That’s our new resident mockingbird that has nested with its mate in my tree upfront.
Anyways, I’m so excited for this seasons ube harvest it’s crazy to think I went from 1 plant, to 4, to 8 and now roughly 40 plants! We’re about to start a farm!

The clovers☘️are receding!

Looks like I have an agricultural/architectural engineering problem on my hand. The shade provided by my house in the winter and spring allows these clovers to proliferate in one section of my lawn. When summer finally hits, that section gets full sun killing off the clover that loves the shade leaving me with a brown area. The grass grows in and the cycle starts over again. Can we truly break this cycle? We can definitely try!
