Johnna and Ellie were talking about Rock Bottom Construction and what it might look like one day if the business was passed down to Ellie and her future siblings.

Being her normal inquisitive self, Ellie asked what she would do.

Johnna told her, “You can choose. You can do the construction work like Daddy, or you can run the business side like Mommy.”

Without missing a beat, Ellie said, “I think I’ll do the construction work because that computer work is a lot.” 😂

Apparently, moving dirt doesn’t feel like work when you’re 5. 🤷‍♀️🚜

We’ll let her keep that opinion for as long as she can. ❤️

One year ago today, two things were worth celebrating…and they are still worth celebrating today!

🎉 Happy Birthday, Chris!
🎉 Happy 1st Birthday, Rock Bottom Construction, LLC!

Rock Bottom Construction wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment idea. It was something Johnna and Chris talked about for years. There were countless conversations, prayers, dreams, and “what ifs” before it ever became reality.

Then, one year ago, Johnna surprised Chris with a simple screenshot…

Their EIN approval.

It wasn’t flashy, but it represented a leap of faith. It was the moment years of dreaming turned into action.

Since then, we’ve had the privilege of serving our community, meeting incredible people, and watching God open doors we couldn’t have opened ourselves.

To everyone who has trusted us with your projects, shared our posts, recommended our business, or simply cheered us on—thank you. You are part of this story too.

While preparing this homesite, we uncovered a massive rock that required the right equipment and a little extra work. We brought in a hammer attachment for our skid steer to break through the challenge and keep the project moving.
