My writing days were so long ago that I can now read my books objectively. I cringe now and then, but on the whole, they're OK.

It's been a long time since I wrote so many romances. Looking back now, I sometimes wonder how much was fiction and how many were genuine memories. Think about it.. how many of your favorite memories have been enhanced over time...

I keep being prompted to write something about or for 'author.' ok, I wrote a bunch of stuff, including a weekly newspaper article on local (Winston-Salem) art, foreword for a publication called Art In America, something for an early acrylics manufacturer, a whole bunch of novels and novellas...76 or more....I forget. Stopped writing a long time ago, but my books are still published somewhere because I still get royalties (tiny ones!) from a number of different countries.

Passing time plays tricks on old brains. Rereading my books that were written several decades ago, I wonder what was memory and what was pure fiction. Even fiction has some basis in fact...doesn't it? Think about it and let me know.
