The walnut log did not let us down, We got 5 beautiful slaps that will be used for a dining room table!!
One Minor set back, when we got to slab #5, we found metal! Surgery to remove the 2”+ nail was done, and we ended the night with 0 broken blades, and a trailer load of wood ready for the kiln!

Rough cut lumber is an excellent alternative.
