Ready to elevate your curb appeal? ๐ŸŒฟ Our very own, Jeremy Windemuller is featured in Hello Nation sharing the secrets to a perfectly balanced garden! The key is "layered planting"โ€”starting with trees for structure, adding shrubs for continuity and texture, and finishing with perennials for pops of color.

When you mix these elements effectively, you don't just get a beautiful yard; you create a sustainable ecosystem that thrives year-round. ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒณ Get the full breakdown of Jeremyโ€™s expert tips here: https://prn.to/4sJ0sTS

We are now in the HIGH RISK period for oak wilt! That means you should wait until at least July 16th to prune your oak trees, but November 1st would be even better.

Oak wilt is an invasive fungal disease that kills red oaks. White oaks are more resistant to the disease. Oak wilt can be spread via connected root systems between trees, as well as by sap-feeding beetles that are attracted to pruned or injured trees. Moving firewood can spread oak wilt, so this is a good reminder of why we shouldn't move firewood long distances.

Looking for a small tree or large shrub with multi-season interest? Cornelian cherry dogwood (๐˜Š๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ฏ๐˜ถ๐˜ด ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ด) lights up the early spring garden with clusters of yellow flowers before its leaves even emerge. The bright red fruits that follow also make it an excellent choice for a bird-friendly garden.
