Fall flower bed cleanups. Hostas and phlox are cut back to the ground to avoid the spread of disease and to make the sites neater. Panicle hydrangeas can be cut back in the fall or spring; sometimes it just depends on the amount of time available.

Filled an empty bed with various ground covers after the client had decorative white stone removed from the beds. Cardboard mulch was laid down as w**d barrier. Also removed shrubs impeding access to the gas meter and faucet.

Switched out a flowerbed from river rock mulch and failed landscape fabric to cardboard w**d barrier and woodchip mulch....

Switched out a flowerbed from river rock mulch and failed landscape fabric to cardboard w**d barrier and woodchip mulch. Moved some plants to more appropriate locations and created a small extra bed with leftover plants.
