Four homes. Four very different ways to gather.

One family might want a hidden theater tucked behind a secret door. Another might picture a bunk room filled with cousins each summer. For someone else, it’s a w**e wall, a pool table, and plenty of room for friends to stay awhile.

Each of these spaces began with a conversation about how our clients spend their time and what they wanted their home to make possible.

Affinity Homes had a team on the course this year for the Greater Vancouver Chamber ’s Sip, Shop, Swing Golf Tournament at Camas Meadows Golf Course, an all-women’s tournament presented by Davidson & Associates Insurance Agency, Inc

Crystal Simensen, who has participated in the tournament for the past four years, led the Affinity team this year and was joined by her sister and cousins for the back nine. It was a great day of golf, local vendors, and connecting with other women in business.

The highlight came on hole 17, when Crystal used her 7 iron and landed her ball closest to the pin, earning a one-night stay at the Holiday Inn Portland, Columbia Riverfront. Not a bad way to finish the day.

We’re grateful Crystal had the opportunity to step away from the office, enjoy some time on the course, and connect with the women who make our local business community so special. Thank you, Crystal and family, for representing Affinity so well!

This proposed design for Lot 6 takes a clean, modern direction with warm materials and open living spaces that bring plenty of natural light into the home. It’s one example of how a home can respond to its setting while still feeling personal to the people who will live there.

There’s a certain kind of evening that arrives just before summer gives way to fall. The air cools, the light changes, and somehow dinner outside feels worth holding onto for a few more weeks.

The Ramsay was designed for evenings like these, with outdoor spaces that feel like a natural part of the home rather than somewhere you simply step outside. It’s the kind of space that makes you linger a little longer, even as the season begins to change.

We’re looking forward to a few more weeks of this before sweater weather takes over.
