EQUESTRIAN CENTER UPDATE

We know there have been a number of questions circulating in the community regarding the future of the Camp Verde Equestrian Center.

After reviewing the RFQ submittals and the term sheets that were provided, the Town Council has decided not to move forward with the proposals at this time. Instead, Council would like additional time to gather more information before making any long-term decisions regarding the facility.

As part of the FY27 budget discussions, Council will be reviewing additional data related to the Equestrian Center, including:
• The potential cost to return the site to a usable condition following the Camp Verde Arena Association’s departure at the end of March 2026
• Possible staffing needs and associated costs to support asset management and oversight of the facility

Taking the time to fully understand these factors will help ensure that any future decisions about the Equestrian Center are made with the best information available and with the long-term interests of the community in mind, including the possibility of issuing a new RFQ in the future.

The Town will continue to keep the public informed as more information becomes available during the upcoming budget discussions.

Today we addressed a slab leak.
The main irrigation line is busted.(probably due to roots, or weight.) We have to take the retaining wall down right in that spot to fix the leak. It’s right between those two rocks.
Gotta love my job 🥹❤️

Build a sloped path with paver stones under the downspout to guide water away from the house. Line it with bricks for support and mulch the sides to keep the area tidy and prevent erosion.
