Say hello to Puck!

He is a traveler and came all the way from in Austin, TX thanks to his human dad . Puck is anxiously awaiting his female counterparts to make little goat babies. Do you know how much cuteness you are going to be subjected to by following this page?! 🐐🌈✨

Oca is a “potato” that hasn’t been domesticated yet.

Always trying to explain this new crop and what it tastes like. I finally just started telling people it’s a potato with a tang -nuff said. Eat it roasted, fried, mashed, or purée, stir fry, grill, bake, even shave it raw (not like a potato) into salads and garnishes.

Fresh loaves out of the oven with

She has been baking this bread from day one. She looked after the mother and fed her. When the time came she divided the mother loaf into many many children. These little loafs rose until the day they were ready to be put in the oven. And now today we began to pull them out of the earth oven and celebrate the harvest.

What are we going to name this food?

Farm dog portrait series.
This is Miha. She was adopted from the Humane Society recently. The story is that her ancestors have been living on the Warmsprings reservation. going back at least 10 generations. Recently there has been a big population growth , so Miha and a few of her siblings were brought to the humane society. Now she gets to join us out at the farm. She fits right in.
