~Snowfall Forecast Thursday-Saturday~
A prolonged clipper later this upcoming week will bring persistent accumulating snow. Most of the accumulation will take place Thursday night and Friday but scattered snow showers are possible east of the Plains Saturday. A large area of 2-4" with isolated higher amounts are expected. Warm temperatures ahead of this clipper will delay travel impacts, but arctic air will rush in soon after the snow starts, allowing the snow to quickly stick, even on road surfaces. Expect road conditions to be most impacted midnight Thursday night to midnight Friday night. Some blowing snow is possible and will lead to lower visibility, worsening travel conditions overall.
