We talk a lot about taking care of people, but sometimes that has absolutely nothing to do with a roof. ❤️
Andrew Ruszkowski is part of our Undercover family, and this story hit us right in the heart.
We couldn't be prouder to have someone like Andrew representing Undercover — not because he made a sale that day, but because he took the time to sit down, listen and simply be a good human.
This one is so much bigger than roofing. ❤️

There was no roof to sell.
But Andrew found something much more meaningful at the door that day. ❤️
Andrew is a full-time Atlanta firefighter who recently picked up a second job with a roofing company to help support his family.
That means spending his days off knocking on doors, often in the Georgia heat, hoping to find someone who needs his help.
Last week, an older gentleman named Mr. Gordan answered one of those doors.
He didn’t need any roof work.
But he wanted to talk.
So Andrew accepted his invitation inside for a glass of water and a conversation.
Two hours later, they were still talking.
Mr. Gordan shared stories from his life as an actor and storyteller.
Andrew talked about his family and his dad, who recently passed away and had dreamed of making it in the movie industry.
In some ways, Mr. Gordan reminded Andrew of his dad.
When it was time to leave, the two hugged, exchanged phone numbers and took a picture together.
Andrew called his wife, Erin, afterward, deeply moved by those two hours with a stranger who somehow made him feel a little closer to his dad.
Sometimes, the most meaningful moments happen when we slow down long enough to have a conversation we could have easily walked away from.
And this one sounds like the beginning of a pretty special friendship. 💙
