A pocket door is only as good as its track!🚪

Most pocket doors look the same once the drywall is finished, but the quality of the track and hardware behind the wall makes a huge difference in how the door feels and performs for years to come.

A quality track means a smoother glide, easier adjustment, less noise, and a door that doesn’t become frustrating to use after a few years.

Thorough cleaning before drywall is a standard we take seriously.

It gives the next trades a clean slate to work with, but more importantly, it shows that even the areas that will eventually be covered up are still treated with the same level of care as everything else.

Because nobody wants to renovate a house 50 years from now and find Coke bottles, scrap material, and trash buried behind the walls simply because someone didn’t care enough to clean it up.

We are getting towards the finish line at our Mid to Mid-Century project!
What started off as a basic house with underutilized space built 50 years ago is being turned into a beautiful new space with unique mid-century charm 💡

We intentionally spaced our laundry room cabinets about 8” off the wall. Why?

Standard cabinets are only 24” deep, but most stacked washer and dryer units need around 32” of depth. Instead of having the appliances stick out past the cabinets, we fur the cabinets off the wall so everything finishes flush for a much cleaner, built-in look.

We always love the instant transformation that happens when the hardwood floors are stained!

The stain brings out the natural grain of the wood and adds so much warmth and character to each space. Some rooms are paired with bold colors, while others lean into softer tones and natural wood accents.

Excited to watch this home continue to come to life!
