One of the coolest parts about owning a landscaping business is getting to look back at where it all started.

This was the very first landscape project I completed when I started TJLandscape & Design. Seeing how much the plants have filled in and matured over time is a reminder that great landscapes only get better with time.

Started with a blank canvas, a vision, and a lot of hard work — now it’s a full, tropical landscape that completely transformed the front of this home.

Another beautiful transformation in the books 🌿

We recently completed this custom landscape redesign, blending clean lines, layered textures, and low-maintenance tropical plantings to elevate the entire front yard. From the fresh mulch beds to the curated mix of architectural plants, every detail was designed to complement the home and thrive in our climate.

And right on cue… a local Sandhill crane stopped by to check out the work. Safe to say we passed inspection 🐦

A beautiful transformation takes time. 🌴

This property is currently in the middle of a multi-stage landscape project, and we’re excited to see it come together step by step. The palms are in, the layout is taking shape, and the foundation for what will become a lush tropical landscape is officially underway.

Projects like this are completed in carefully planned stages—from grading and structural work to planting, irrigation, and finishing touches. Each phase builds toward a landscape that not only looks great but thrives long term.
