We finished up the 24ga forest green roof, added some forest green 6 inch K gutter with 3x4 downspouts today, we have counter tops in transit from Nevada tomorrow and Install on Friday

Sometimes home owners will ask me " do you know what the hell you are doing" to their surprise my short answer is no
Occasionally we try new things so we can always be improving or improvising different situations, small reveal in the valleys have always been a concern especially if they hold tree debris, snow for weeks that sits there and doesn't move, then it starts to defrost c a using ice daming and water backing up under the panels, we have always done anywhere from 2 inch up to 4 inch reveal, this job we switched to a V valley and gave it a 6 inch reveal on both sides to create a self cleaning valley, In the first picture you can see our standard ridge cap install would not work with a big reveal valley so we built a standing seam ridge cap, turned the upper part of the standing seam into a laying seam so the ridge profile would tuck up under the panel cleat so the main panels will have 4 inches of positive lap over the ridge cap for a water tight ridge and valley junction, one more of these to build tomorrow and then back to installing the panels friday

Got a bit of a slow start on the green roof today, spent most of the morning fighting the seamer robot
Bread paning all the panels so they are 100% water tight in the receiver channels around the dormer, this method allows the siders to install the siding before the roof goes on

CDX Plywood, peal and stick high temp underlayment on the eves, hybrid underlayment on the rest
24ga snap lock panels with 3 accent ribs to finish it off
