This is the primary bedroom's bathroom at our house we just bought. As I was removing the old vanity to remove the wallpaper I noticed the wallpaper was actually sitting on a ⅛" piece of paneling. Someone used construction adhesive, drywall screws, and silicone to secure it to the wall instead of removing the old wallpaper and doing the drywall repair where the original recessed medicine cabinet was.
After removing the paneling I scraped the hell out of the construction adhesive to knock it down as much as I could. Did all the drywall repairs, relocated the vanity electrical, I added a thin skim coat, wall texture, and painted. I replaced the window and finished it out with a drywall returning fresh exterior trim. Installed a new vanity and toilet after tiling and sealing the floor.
I do most of these things for my customer's, besides replacing the windows, and the flooring. I do a variety of things, so don't be afraid to ask. The worst I can say is its not something I do. I'm always honest about my abilities.
I'm licensed and insured.
