We haven't completed this room yet but I wanted to share the progress because I think it turned out so well.

I don't do bathroom remodeling for my customers but I can do many of the things I did do while remodeling my own bathroom. Like small painting jobs, drywall repair, and minor electric and plumbing.

Let me know if you have any projects you need help with. I'm licensed and insured.

Here's a lil taste of the progress on our house remodel. I was originally trying to do before/after pics from each day but we've been so busy trying to get this place ready to move in. Some of the days didn't really look worthy of sharing either. This room isn't done but it's close! Just need to finish the electrical and paint the closet shelf, then it's done!

The picture really doesn't do this room justice. The paint color is Mayfair white and it's a really light sage green 💚

My wife and I bought a house recently. So a lot of the pictures this week will be of our house. We found a fixer upper and we're really excited about our plans. This is the front and when we went to look at it for the first time this was the first thing I wanted to do. Removed the makeshift mud porch yesterday and today I replaced 5 prehung doors. We have a lot of prep to do for painting, like removing wallpaper, and drywall repairs. We are planning to replace all the windows and exterior doors too eventually. Ideally paint, floors, baseboards and trim will be done when we move in.

I'm not taking on a lot of business this month to ensure I can get us moved in by the first. I am taking jobs though, so if you're needing help with anything, let me know. I'm licensed and insured.

This customer has a stone tile roof that lost a couple tiles during the heavy winds the other day. I used some construction adhesive and nails to to reposition the tiles and secure them to the roof.

One of the projects I did today was installing these handles on the doors and drawers in my customer's kitchen and bathrooms. Its not uncommon for builders to not do this step in case the customer decides to change it and the money they spend on the hardware is wasted. It also keeps profit margins higher obviously, but that's not the sole reason.

These are some pics from my work today. The light was replaced for a Lennar customer who just moved into their brand new home. A lot of builders don't include ceiling fans, so I often install these in the bedrooms and living rooms. I also had some pavers I secured for someone. Some of the pavers on the steps down to the house was loose and there was this low spot in a path under their patio. I don't usually do the pavers but since it was such a small section I didn't mind.

Today I replaced a thermostat, a closet door, and a bathroom exhaust fan motor. Everything was pretty straightforward. She wanted a new thermostat to be able to have remote control of the system. We replaced the bifold doors with sliding doors to save space in the hallway. The motor for the exhaust fan wasn't as simple. They usually are but I had a hard time locating the original motor. So I had to get a little creative. I had to add a ¼ spacer (aka a nut) to give the new motor room for the fan propellers to move. The new motor came with a different bracket and it had the motor mounted below it. Causing the motor to stick out passed the ceiling about 3 inches. The old bracket had the motor mounted above the bracket but we didn't have screws that matched up to allow the new motor to mount to the old bracket the way it was originally. I hunted down some screws that fit and just made them shorter to fit in there with the cover on. I also had to cut short the original hardware that held the cover in place because it was hitting the motor. It took some creativity but it works and no longer makes noises like it used to.

I don't normally post personal projects on here but this was a big project and I believe it showcases my versatility.

This weekend, with the help of a friend, we installed this new bumper. The bumper has a light bar and winch we installed in it. Because the factory power supply and wiring doesn't power equipment like this, we also installed a larger AGM battery and changed the wiring from 2 awg to 0 awg, which will allow more power to flow more efficiently. Also, not seen in the picture is a voltage booster pro, which adds .5-1 amp to help the factory alternator charge the larger batter to full capacity.

Let me know if you need help with any projects. I don't troubleshoot vehicles but I don't mind doing repairs you have had diagnosed. As long as I'm not liable for it not working, if it turns out it was misdiagnosed. I'm licensed and insured.
