Don’t be fooled! Just because your handyman has a buisness license doesn’t qualify him to pull his own permit for his own job equals he’s not even qualified to even building decks! We are a real state licensed residential/commercial contractor. We have been building quality decking for over 30 years.

Our latest local Screen Porch conversion!

❇️ New removable screens. They are a fiberglass mesh screen with an oil rubbed bronze aluminum frame with matching hardware to install the screens.
❇️ New framing was put into place and paint to match the existing paint colors.
❇️ The lower section we re-screened with a custom addition to the lower area just below the handrail with new custom fit Chipndale panels.

❇️ All pressure treated pine construction.
❇️ Handrails are built standard with a leaf gap for easy cleaning maintenance. With a broom or leaf blower.
❇️ The stairs were built with onsite cut 2x12 stair stringers. 7” rise with a riser cap. Metal stair connector straps are add at the top to the deck frame to keep stair’s from separating from the deck.
❇️ All floor joists are set on joist hangers on both sides of each floor joist. The frame and joists are 2x10’s. You can park a truck on it!
❇️ The main deck support sets on a 12” deep footing. We install 6x post buckets at the bottom of each support post. This elevates the main deck supports 1” off the ground to help the post from rotting as quickly where the post contacts the ground.

Did you know deck builds are required to be permitted?! Correct!
So if your handyman tells you he can build it for you BUT he can’t even pull the permit himself…this just proves he’s not qualified to even be doing the work.
Do your homework make sure whoever builds your deck that they are a qualified State Licensed Contractor.
A handyman has a business license but that doesn’t mean he’s a real state licensed contractor. People need to be educated on this.
