Squeezed in one more for the day that went nearly until dark. Customer supplied handleset and electronic deadbolt. We had to drill for handleset as well as the deadbolt. Everything measured and perfectly level. The customer was very happy and it was a pleasure working for her. Best part of the job was that black Lab that was trading kisses for rump scratches. He was a very good boy!

We just completed a residential project for a terrific family with a beautiful vintage home. They haven’t been able to lock their front door as their old mortise lock was broken and had been for many years. We removed the old lock and retrofitted the door with a new style Schlage with a matching door wrap.

The most important part is the cleanup at the end of the job. Vacuuming sawdust, wiping down hardware and wood surfaces so we don’t leave greasy fingerprints. It’s the only way to do it.

I had the pleasure to finally finish up a longstanding job at Copper Cup and I so appreciate the patience from the owners. This heavy traffic door now has a heavy duty, grade one exit device as well as a stout door closer. Not only does it look great, but the door is much more functional than it was before.

I love a good commercial door. The rust and dust, the sound of the heavy equipment and the hissing of the air compressor bleed off. I got the pleasure of replacing some old, broken mortise locks with some grade one levers and stainless steel wraps. Much better operation!
